The NTU Museums is driven by the ambition to ensure the sustainability of all museums on campus; to live up to the value bestowed upon museums; and to give back to society.
Our Mission
- To support the University’s educational, pedagogical, and research needs, providing room for academic disciplines to reflect and grow, and a platform for interdisciplinary communication.
- To showcase the University’s history, as well as its milestones in pedagogy and research, so as to become a window through which the University may be understood, contributing to steer social issues, and shaping NTU’s culture.
- To promote the deepening and accessibility of academic research, and enhance its capacity to fulfill sociocultural responsibilities so as to achieve knowledge equity.
- To conserve and maintain the University’s cultural heritage, and pass down the University’s history, spirit, and legacy
- To promote a diverse society through education so as to fulfill our social responsibility.
- To promote inter-museum engagement and collaboration both domestically and internationally, so as to expand the University’s pedagogical and research capacities, and broaden the horizons of the University’s museums.
