Vision and Mission

The NTU Museums is driven by the ambition to ensure the sustainability of all museums on campus; to live up to the value bestowed upon museums; and to give back to society.

Our Mission

  1. To support the University’s educational, pedagogical, and research needs, providing room for academic disciplines to reflect and grow, and a platform for interdisciplinary communication.
  2. To showcase the University’s history, as well as its milestones in pedagogy and research, so as to become a window through which the University may be understood, contributing to steer social issues, and shaping NTU’s culture.
  3. To promote the deepening and accessibility of academic research, and enhance its capacity to fulfill sociocultural responsibilities so as to achieve knowledge equity.
  4. To conserve and maintain the University’s cultural heritage, and pass down the University’s history, spirit, and legacy
  5. To promote a diverse society through education so as to fulfill our social responsibility.
  6. To promote inter-museum engagement and collaboration both domestically and internationally, so as to expand the University’s pedagogical and research capacities, and broaden the horizons of the University’s museums.
